Visible from I-91 to commuters and visitors from all over, our blue dome with its gold stars and rampant colt is the original home of Samuel & Elizabeth Colt’s world-famous Colt’s Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Company.

Our unique 17-acre property features 10 distinct buildings, all being restored to the National Park Service standards. Our authentic industrial renovations offer beautiful, modern spaces where you can live, work, learn & play. Our Hartford apartments are newly renovated and a beautiful place to call home. Colt Gateway - Rich in History

In December of 2014, Colt and the surrounding Coltsville district was authorized as Connecticut’s first National Historic Park to honor the life and legacy of Samuel and Elizabeth Colt. Our two historic brownstone buildings, The Foundry and The Forge, have been slated by the U.S. Park Service to become an interactive Colt Gallery and the park’s visitor center.

We’re proud to be a part of modern history, restoring, reviving and revitalizing Hartford!
